Melt brown sugar and butter. Mix until well combined. Pour into a 9x13 pan.

Cut the loaf of french bread into slices about 3/4 inch thick. Lay about 8 slices in the pan on top of the butter/sugar mixture.

Spread apples evenly over the bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon and top with another slice of bread.

|
Beat the eggs and milk, pour over the french toast. Cover and refrigerate ovver night. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Uncover the last 15 minutes.
