     Pumpkin bread

Ingredients
3 C. sugar
1 C vegetable oil
4 eggs, room temp, beaten lightly
16 oz. can pumpkin, (not pumpkin pie mix)
3 1/2 C. flour
2 Tsp. salt
2 Tsp. baking soda
1 Tsp. nutmeg
1 Tsp allspice
 
1 Tsp. cinnamon (optional)
1/2 tsp ground cloves
2/3 C water

Instructions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Butter and flour 2 9x5 loaf pans.
Stir together sugar and oil. Stir in eggs and pumpkin. combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. blend dry ingredients and water into wet mixture, alternating. Divide batter between two loaf pans.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. let stand 10 minutes. Remove from pans and place on wire rack to cool.
