In a large pot, boil water and cook the lasagna noodles.
In another pot, cook sliced Italian sausage and onion until cooked through. Add tomatoes, spaghetti sauce and seasonings or use an Italian blended spice (ie. Mrs. Dash)
In a small bowl, combine ricotta and mozzarella cheese.
Layer in a glass dish as follows- small amount of sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, meat sauce.. repeat. Top with parmesan cheese and bake at 350F (covered) for 45 minutes; remove foil and continue to bake until bubble (approx 30 minutes).
