     Candy Cane Cookies

Ingredients
1 Cup butter
1 Cup Powdered Suggar
1 Egg
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
2.5 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup finely crushed candy cane mixe w 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 and cook for 6-9 minutes. Mix All ingridients ASIDE from last two items, yet. Divide dough into 2 equal portions.
Color one half of the dough red. Refridgerate the dough long enough to be able to work easily with it. Break off one tablespoon of each color and roll by hand into tubes. Twist two colors together and bed to form candy cane shape.
Sprinkle the top witht he candy cane/sugar mixture.
Be careful when removing from cookie sheet, they can break easily.
