Slowly brown sausage and beef. Spoon out excess fat and add garlic, 1 tbsp parsley flakes, basil, salt, tomatoes and paste. Simmer uncovered, until thick, about 1 hour, stirring frequently.
Cook noodles in boiling water, drain, rinse in cold water.
Place half of the noodles in 13x9 baking dish, spread half of the cottage cheese mixture over; and half of the mozz. Cheese, half the meat mixture, keep repeating. Bake 30 min in 325 oven.. let stand 15 min before serving.
