1/2 stick of margarine, melted
|

1 cup light karo (can use dark)
|
|
1/2 cup sugar
|

3 eggs, beaten

1 tsp. vanilla
|
|
pinch of salt
|

1 1/2 cups pecans (halves)

1/2 tsp. lemon juice
|
|
1 unbaked pie shell

Instructions |

|
Mix altogether and put into unbaked pie shell.
|
|
|
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower to
325 degrees for 40 minutes. Knife will come out
clean when inserted in middle.
|
|
|
You can cover the edge of the pie shell to keep it
from getting too brown when you lower the
temperature.
