Ingredients
1 tsp unsalted butter or margarine, at room temperature
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 cup 1% milk
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
2 large egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp almond extract
2 cups pitted sweet cherries
 
1 1/2 tsp confectioners sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat an 8-inch square baking dish with butter or margarine and dust with 1 tsp of granulated sugar.
In a blender, combine remaining granulated sugar, milk, flour, eggs, egg whites, and vanilla and almond extracts. Blend until smooth.
Pour half of batter into preapred baking dish. Add cherries and pour in remaining batter.
Bake for 20-30 mins, or until clafouti si puffed, browned, and firm. Transfer to a wire rack to cool slightly. Dust confectioners sugar over top.
