Cooking the pasta as per the directions in one pot.
Brown a clove or so of crushed garlic in some olive oil in another.
Once the garlic is fragrant, add the spices (basil, oregano) then add the frozen veggies (corn in particular is nice, I use mixed). Let that thaw a little.
Add the can of cream of mushroom soup, plus 1/2 a can of water/milk. Let that boil down. Add some cheese for richness, thickness and yummyness.
I guess here is also where you would add your sauteed or rehydrated mushrooms.
Mix the pasta and the sauce, and serve. It looks fancy, it's colourful and it's pretty delicious for just throwing what I had in the pantry into a pot!
