     Grandma's Hedin's Molasses Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
3/4 Cup Shortening - melt in microwave
1 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Dark Molasses
1 Egg
2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 Cups Flour
1/2 tsp. Cloves
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1 tsp. Cinnamon
 
1/2 tsp. Salt
Instructions
Add sugar, molasses, and egg to melted shortening. Beat well.
Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill.
Form 1 inch balls and roll in sugar.
Place on cookie sheet and bake 375 for 10-12 minutes.
