     Ham and Beans 2

Ingredients
4 c. dried white beans
1 to 2 ham hocks
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 bay leaves
1/2 t. black pepper
10 cups water. Add more if needed.
 

Instructions
Cover and soak beans overnight or boil for 4 minutes and let sit for 1 hour. Drain water off of beans
Combine all ingredients and cook until beans are tender. Remove ham hocks and let cool a little. Remove meat from bones and add back to beans.
Good recipe for crock pot.
