10 graham crackers, crushed, or 1 c. corn flakes, crushed
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. raisins, optional
1 t. cinnamon, optional
Instructions
Bring to boiling point 2 c. milk with 1 T. vinegar to make sour milk. Remove from heat and stir in 4 T. butter, 6 T. sugar, baking soda
salt. Mix well and cool to lukewarm.
Add 2 eggs and yeast. Mix well and add 6 C flour, 2 cups at a time, mixing well after each addition until all the flour is used up. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes.
Flour bread board good and roll dough out to ¼ inch thickness. Melt 4 T. margarine or butter and spread over dough then add filling.
Mix together walnuts,graham crackers or corn flakes, and sugar. You can also add raisins or cinnamon.
Roll up and place in greased pan and let raise for 1 hour. Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes.
Grease with margarine or butter and cool.
