|
Add the soaked beans to a pot of 1 part water and 1 part vegetable broth with enough liquid to cover the beans and bring to a boil.

Chop the onion and celery stalks and add to the beans.
|
|
|
Cook until beans are soft and remove from heat.
|
|
|
Add about 1/2 can of tomato paste and season with several pinches of chili powder, turmeric, salt, and cayenne pepper to taste.
Stir to mix and serve!
