     Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients
Spaghetti noodles, cooked, drained, and rinsed
1 jar spaghetti sauce
5 T. butter, melted
1 c. grated Parmesan
1-2 c. grated Mozzarella
1 egg, beaten
1 c. cottage cheese
1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
 
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 T. Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper

Instructions
Brown beef and onion. Drain fat. Add garlic, sugar, Italian seasoning. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Stir well and set aside.
Tothe cooked noodles, add melted butter, beaten egg, and Parmesan. Pour noodles into a deep dish 10 inch pie plate or a 9x9 baking dish. Pat the noodles into bottom and up sides of dish to form crust 1/2 inch thick.
Quickly spread cold cottage cheese to coat the bottom of the noodle crust. Pour meat into the center.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with grated Mozzarella. Bake 5-10 minutes more until cheese is bubbly.
