2 T cider vinegar
|

2 T vegetable oil

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp sugar

1 c diced, unpeeled Granny Smith apple

1/4 c chopped sweet onion

1/4 c Craisins
|
|
2 c torn spinach
|

2 c torn romaine

Instructions |
|
|
Combine vinegar, oil, salt and sugar and mix well.
|
|
|
Add apple, onion, and Craisins. Toss lightly to coat. Cover and let stand for at least 10 minutes.
|
|
|
Just before serving, combine spinach and romaine, add dressing and toss.
|
|
|
I usually do just a little more of the vinegar, oil and apple. Makes a tastier salad. Adjust to your taste!
