Put silverside in slow cooker and add 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Crumble over 1 oxo beef stock cube. Add salt & pepper.

Cook on low for six hours turning every 1 1/2 hours to another side.
Take out & let cool before slicing. Serve with mustard sauce as follows....

To make mustard sauce beat egg & sugar together in a small saucepan.
Add flour & mustard powder.
Slowly add liquids.
Cook over a medium heat til mixture thickens.
Serve over corned beef.
