Preheat oven to 375. Place foil sheets on counter for cooling.
Combine shortening and brown sugar in lg bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat in eggs. Add cake mix gradually at low speed. Mix until well blended. Stir in cereal, chips, chunks and nuts. Stir until well blended.
Shape into 1” balls, place 2” apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly
Bake 7-9 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet before removing. Finish cooling on foil.
