3 lbs of pork ribs (short)
|
|
6 tablespoons oil
|
|
SAUCE
|
|
2 tablespoons cornstarch
|
|
1/4 cup white sugar
|
|
1/4 cup vinegar
|
|
3 - 4 tablespoons soya sauce
|
|
1/2 tsp salt
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|

|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Heat oil in large deep dish fry pan and add ribs, brown well. Once well browned, remove access grease from pan.
|
|
|
In a small mixing bowl add cornstarch, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, salt
|
|
|
Drain can of pineapple chunks juice into cornstarch mixture, mix well. Pour over ribs, if sauce is to thick, thin out with a bit of water.
|
|
|
Continue cooking ribs until cooked throughly about 2 hours. Add pineapple chunks and serve with rice.
