     Cheese and Onion Scones

Ingredients
3 cups of flour
1 flat teaspoon of baking powder
1 flat teaspoon salt, dash pepper
1 stick of margarine cut into pieces
onion chopped
6oz grated sharp cheese
3 well beaten eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon of mustard
 

Instructions
Preheat oven 350 degrees. Mix the first three ingredients together.
Rub in the margarine.
Add the onion and cheese reserving a little cheese for the top of the scones. Add the liquid and mix a just a little to combine.
Flour a counter top. Form dough into a rectangle and cut into about 18 scones. Bake for about 35 minutes.
