     Tomato sauce/Lasagna

Ingredients
canned crushed tomatos
ground pork and beef (brown and drain grease)
onions, sauteed
garlic
oregano
basil
salt/pepper
bay leaf
parsley (optional)
 
small amount of sugar and/or baking soda to cut acidity
celery
mushrooms
swiss chard
options-chicken or sausage, cooked

Instructions
Combine all ingredients, bring to boil and the simmer.
lasagna layers (from bottom upward) sauce-noodles-sauce-cottage cheese or ricotta (mix with 1 egg, parmesean cheese, 1tsp. oil)- noodles-sauce-mozzarella cheese- noodles-sauce and mozarella and parmesean
optional layers-cut up cooked chicken pieces, mini meatballs, cooked or cold cuts
Bake 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours
