     Gari Pickled Ginger

Ingredients
1/2 pound freh ginger root
1 cup rice vinegar
7 T water
2 1/2 tsp. sugar
salt
 

Instructions
Wash and salt sliced ginger root. Let stand 1 day. Wash again.
Marinate in rice vinegar, water and sugar for 1 week.
Serving Suggestions
Eat with sushi
