     Jaeger Schnitzel (German)

Ingredients
4 pork loin sirloin chops, boneless
salt to taste
pepper to taste
dash nutmeg
paprika powder to taste
2-3 eggs
plain bread crumbs
vegetable oil
spaetzle noodles, cooked
 
onion gravy mix
1 Tbl chicken bouillon
1/4 cup sliced shiitake or portabello mushrooms

Instructions
Tenderize the meat, beat with a meat tenderizer until its thin.
Season on one side with salt, pepper, paprika powder, and a little nutmeg. Beat the eggs a little and pour on a separate pie plate. Put bread crumbs on a separate pie plate. Dip the seasoned meat first in eggs than in bread crumbs and put to side.
Put vegetable oil in a frying pan and heat up until hot. Cook meat on medium till outside is golden brown, about 3-4 mins per side.
In small pot, mix onion gravy mix per directions on packet and add 1 Tbl chicken bouillon and dash nutmeg and cook. Mix in mushrooms. You can also use German Style Pot Roast seasoning mix Sauerbraten gravy mix (Maggi brand found at most Walmart stores).
Serving Suggestions
Serve on cooked spaetzle noodles and cover with gravy.
