1 cup soft butter
|

1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar

1 egg
|

1 teaspoon vanilla
|

1 teaspoon almond extract
|

2 1/2 cups self-rising flour

Icing- 2 cups confectioners sugar, 3 tablespoons milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla
|

Food coloring, colored sugar, candies
|

Instructions |
|
|
Mix butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and almond extract well. Blend in flour.
Cover and chill for 3 hours.

Roll dough on floured board. Cut with cookie cutters.
|
|
|
Bake in 375 degree oven on greased cookie sheet for 7-8 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
|

|
Icing- Mix sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth. Divide into portions and color with food colors. Decorate.
