     Old-World Manicotti

Ingredients
12 large manicotti shells
4c. shredded mozzarella
2c. ricotta cheese
6T. chpped fresh basil
26oz. marinara sauce
1/2c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare 13x9in. baking dish with Pam. Cook pasta, drain, rinse with cool water and let pasta dry on paper towels.
For filling- In medium bowl stir together 3c. mozzarella with the ricotta and fresh basil. With a teaspoon, carefully stuff shells with cheese mix. (Can fill Ziploc and cut corner and fill that way).
Spoon 2c. marinara sauce over top of pasta. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over it.
Bake manicotti for 15 min., sprinkle with Parmesan; bake for 10 min. longer.
