     Sausage Crescent Rolls

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 pound Bob Evans Sausage ( or any good type) - use 1/2 hot and 1/2 sage
1/3 cup minced onion
1 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
2 packages Pillsbury Crescent Rolls- do not use store brand or cheaper as they are too thin

Instructions
Brown the sausage and onion in a high sided pan. Then crumble and drain very well. Return to pan and melt in the cream cheese, but do not burn.
Take 2 triangles of the crescent rolls and spread the mixture and roll up LONG WAY. Freeze about one hour to get it firm and then slice the log into 1/2 -3/4 inch slices across the long roll. Freeze in a gallon freezer bag.
Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes on a slightly greased baking tray. Careful, bottom will get brown before the top so flip over about 1/2 thru cooking.
You may double or triple this recipe and keep them for 4-5 months in the freezer.
