Chop and deseed the chillies and place in an non metallic bowl with the turmeric, vinegar, salt garlic and paprika mix well
Marinate 1 lb of diced meat, poultry or prawns overnight
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the onions until soft add the contents of the bowl
Stir fry quickly for 2 mins reduce the heat add the water and simmer for 10 mins
Once water has evaporated stir in lemon juice and garam Masala
