Combine all ingredients in a bowl, except the chicken. Generously coat chicken with the
hoisin mixture. Place the pieces in a stainless steel or glass bowl, cover and refrigerate
(up to several hrs) Reserve any extra marinade for basting later. Preheat oven to 350.
brush off excess sauce. Place the chicken pieces in a baking dish. Bake 35 to 40 min
depending on the type of chicken parts used. Brush chicken with the reserved marinade
about every 10 min. Basting heightens the flavor and keeps chicken from drying out.
