     Turkey Corn Chowder

Ingredients
5 ears fresh corn
1 turkey carcass
2 onions, halved
3 stalks celery with leaves, cut into thirds
2 carrots, cut into thrids
1 bay leaf
1/8 t dried thyme
1/8 t dried basil
1/8 t dried rosemary
 
12 cups water
1 T salt
1 t black pepper
1 t worcestershire sauce
1/4 t hot sauce
1/4 t curry powder
1/4 c dry sherry
1 c heavy cream

Instructions
Cut kernels from corn cobs to measure 3 cups and reserve. Combine corn cobs, turkey carcass and next 8 ingredients in an 8 quart pot. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 1 hour and 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain and return broth to pot.
Puree onion, celery, carrt, 1 c corn kernels, and 2 cups broth. Add pureed mixture and remaining 2 cups corn to pot.
Cook 1 hour, 30 minutes. Add salt and remaining 6 ingredients.
