1/2 cup BBQ sauce (I prefer Stubbs, but anything thick will do)
(Optional) 1/2 red onion, chopped
cooking oil
Instructions
Mix up all the ingredients, except the cooking oil, in a large bowl. You can use a blender, but it tends to make the mixture too smooth. Don't be a wuss; use your hands.
Pour layer of cooking oil in a large pan. I prefer canola oil over olive oil because it seems a little lighter. My stove doesn't have a temp gauge, but on a scale of 1 to 10 I set mine to about 7.
Take the mixed ingredients and form into meatballs using hands. Since this recipe involves frying 'em, you want them pretty small, a little smaller than an egg. You can go bigger if you like, but then getting it evenly cooked becomes an issue. Also optionally you can roll them individually in a little flour before cooking, but get too enthusiastic if you do - just a light coat.
Cook until they brown on all sides, then eat over noodles or alone. I usually put some more BBQ sauce on top of them.

Makes 2-3 servings. Tastes pretty good with bowtie noodles.
