2- 1oz squares of unsweetened chocolate

3 T cornstarch

1/4 t salt

2 cups milk

3 slightly beaten egg yolks

2 T butter

1 t vanilla
|
| |
1 9 inch pie crust

1/2 t vanilly

3 egg whites
|

1/4 t cream of tartar

6 T sugar

Instructions |

|
Melt chocolate and add milk. Mix in sugar, cornstarch, salt, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla. Pour into pie crust. Chill.

For meringue. Whip vanilla, egg whites, tartar, and sugar until soft peaks. Place on top of pie.
