Use a heavy stock pot to cook these pork spareribs on the top of the stove. Spray the bottom and sides of the pot with Pam. Put all ribs into the pot and pour equal parts BBQ sauce, and ketchup on top of them, using the entire bottle. Add the brown sugar and liquid smoke. Mix it a little as it's getting hot and put the lid on.

Bring it to a boil and then turn down to let it simmer (still boiling) for 2-3 hours. Stir it every 20 minutes.

If you want it to burn a little on the bottom for that burnt flavor that's OK Otherwise, as it cooks, stir to keep it from sticking to the bottom or the sides of the pot.

You know when it's done when it literally falls apart.
