     Peanut-Butter Fingers

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
Cream
1 c. margarine
1c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2/3. c peanut butter
Beat in-
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla

Fold in-
2 c. flour ( I use half wheat, half white)
2 c. raw oats
1/4. cup flax seed (optional...but it makes 'em healthier and adds a nutty flavor!)
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt

Instructions
Spread dough in a 15 x 10 x 1 pan that has been sprayed with PAM. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes; watch closely as they tend to burn.
Immediately upon removal from the oven, sprinkle 12 ounces chocolate chips (regular bag) over the pan of cookies. After they melt (in about five minutes) spread with a butter knife to cover the cookies in chocolate
In a separate bowl, make a glaze with powdered sugar (about a half box), peanut butter ( a big dollop) and milk ( just a smidge)....stir until well mixed. Drizzle the glaze over the partially-set chocolate. Then, take a butter knife and cut thru the peanut butter/ chocolate in straight lines to make a simple design.
Let cookies cool completely and chocolate/peanut topping fully set before cutting. These cookies store well and taste better the next day...
