in a 2 quart bowl, microwave, 3 min. on high, let cool, to 125 degrees to 130 degrees
6 or more cups of flour (unbleached)
2 pkgs rapid rise yeast
Instructions
Add 2 1/2 cups flour to the hot liquid mixture. in a mixing bowl with a dough hook, cuisinart with steel blade, or a plastic bowl. Add the yeast. Mix well.Gradually add the remaining flour until you have an unsticky dough to knead. Knead 5 minutes, 1/2 the dough at a time 25 times around cuisinart 10 minutes by hand.
Place dough in a greased bowl-turn and cover to rise in a cozy, draft free place. Punch down and let rise 8 minutes and punch. Repeat 3 more times (total 45 minutes).
Divide dough in 1/2. Roll out on floured board with rolling pin. Roll into crescent. Put on a greased cookie sheet-slash with knife 1 inch apart /2 inch deep. Mix 1 egg yolk and milk brush top of loaves. Let rise about minutes.
Bake at 375 degrees, 20 minutes.
