     Easy Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
1/4 c. water
1 egg
3 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 t. salt
3 T. butter
3 T. nonfat dry milk
3 T. sugar
1 1/2 t. yeast
 

Instructions
In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast with warm 3/4 c. water. Add egg, 2 c. flour, salt, butter, dry milk and sugar. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured board, knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about an hour. Punch down and let rest 5 minutes.
Grease large baking sheet. When dough has risen, remove dough and turn onto floured surface. With a sharp knife, divide dough into 12 pieces. Form dough into desired roll shaped. Place on baking sheet; cover and let rise in warm oven 30-40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400. Brush rolls with melted butter if desired. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden. Remove from oven and serve warm.
