     Caramel Frosting

Ingredients
1 stick butter
1 t salt
2 T evaporated milk
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
Confectioners sugar
 

Instructions
Measure butter, salt, milk and brown sugar in a saucepan. Heat enough to melt the butter. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
Add enough confectioners sugar to desired consistency to spread on cake.
Serving Suggestions
especially good on apple cake
