2 egg whites

1 3/4 c sugar

5 T water

20 marshmallows, cut in small pieces

1 1/2 t vanilla

1/8 t cream of tarter

Instructions |
|
|
Put egg whites, unbeaten, sugar and water in top of a double boiler and set it over rapidly boiling water.
Beat constantly for 7 mins.
|
|
|
Remove from heat and add marshmallows and beat until they are only partially melted.
Add vanilla and cream of tarter.
Spread on cake.
|
|
|
If you use an electric mixer, beat for only 4 mins.
|
