Wash chicken.
Dredge in flour mixed with paprika, salt and pepper.
Add oil to pan and brown chicken slowly on both sides.
Add onion while browning.
Add any mixture left over from dredging.
Blend well with drippings, then add hot water all at once.
Stir well, cover and simmer 30 mins or until chicken is tender.
Add sourcream and simmer 5 mins longer.
Serve over rice or noodles.
