1/4-1/2 cup fresh grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
fresh minced garlic to taste
Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar
fresh Black Pepper
Instructions
Toast one side of sliced french bread. Mix mayonnaise, basil, garlic
and cheese.
Mix olive oil and balsamic vinegar, sprinkle with fresh pepper.
Brush untoasted sides of french bread lightly with oil mixture. Drop
small spoonfuls of mayonnaise mixture onto untoasted oiled side
of bread slices. Place on baking sheet.
Toast slices under broiler until cheese has just melted. Serve hot.
