In a large saucepan or stock pot, add vegetable stock and water and bring to a boil. Add diced carrots and boil for 5 minutes. Stir in tomato puree and tomato paste. Allow to boil for another 5 minutes.
Add all other veggies, cover for five minutes, then stir in herbs and spices. Simmer this for 30 minutes, partially covered. Stir in pasta and simmer, partially covered for 10 minutes.
Allow soup to cool before serving, allowing the flavors to work together. Serve warm.
