Trim crusts from bread. Arrange bread in lightly buttered 9x13 baking dish. Layer 1 1/2 cups cheese, asparagus and ham in prepared dish.
Beat eggs with milk, onion, worecheshire sauce, dry mustard, garlic powder, salt and cayenne pepper in bowl.Pour over layers. Chill, covered overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake casserole for 30min. Sprinkle 1cup cheese over top. Bake for 10min. longer.
