     Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients
1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2-1/4 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup chopped nuts
 

Instructions
Mix together thoroughly the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla in large bowl.
Sift together the flour and salt. Stir into butter mixture. Add in the chopped nuts. Chill dough.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 10 to 12 minutes or until set, but NOT brown.
While warm, roll in 1/2 to 1 cup powdered sugar..
