In medium saucepan over medium heat dissolve sugar in cider,
water and cinnamon stick combination. Add cranberries, bring to
simmer. Stir occasionally until most of the cranberries have burst.
(About 10 minutes)
Cool to room temperature. Move to bowl, cover and regrigerate 24
hours ( to mix flavors). Remove cinnamon stick, let sauce come to
room temperature before serving.
