Wash and core either fruit. Leave skins on. Put apple juice in crockpot. Fill with desired fruit. Let cook on low until the fruit is tender.
Place fruit in a food mill to remove skins and seeds. Return to crockpot add sugar or spices as desired. Cook until desired consistency. Fill in hot sterilized jars. Process as directed for where you live.
