Preheat oven to 350. Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
Add shortening and liquids to dry ingredients. Beat
with mixer for 2 min on med speed. Scrape bowl
frequently. Add eggs. Continue beating 2 more
minutes. Pour into grased and floured pan.
Bake 40-45 min. When cool frost top of cake with
