     Baked Figs In Brandy

Ingredients
25-30 whole figs (5-6 per person)
3-4 tblsp butter
approx 1/2 cup sugar
approx 1/3 cup brandy
creme fraiche
brownie pan
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450. Cut off ends and stems of figs. Cut each fig in half. Place butter on brownie pan, put in oven until just melted. Take out of oven. Make sure butter cover bottom of pan. Place figs flesh side down on the bottom of pan.
Cover figs evenly with sugar. Drizzle brandy evenly over figs. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until sugar starts to carmelize.
Serve ech person 5-6 whole figs topped with a dollip of creme fraiche.
Serving Suggestions
Can also use rum instead of brandy.
