     ZITI WITH SAUSAGE AND CANNELLINI

Ingredients
1/2 LB bulk sweet italian sausage
1/2 LB bulk hot italian sausage
2 TBL EVOO
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 sm white onion, minced or grated
1 can (28oz) crushed tomatoes
1 can (14oz) diced tomatoes
20 fresh basil leaves roughly cut
1 can (15oz) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
 
1 LB ziti rigate, cooked unitl at dente

Instructions
In a deep skillet break up sausage and saute crumbles over medium-high heat. Remove from pan to a paper-towed-lined dish to drain. Return the pat to heat. Reduce heat to medium low. Add olive oil, garlic and onion and cook 5 minutes, until the onion sweetens. Add tomatoes, basil and beans. Heat through. Return sausage crumbles to sauce. Drain pasta. Combine with sauce and serve

serve with bread and a tossed salad
