Cut one cup butter into flour, baking powder and
salt. Stir in water. Shape into a ball then a
rectangle. Quarter remaining butter. Keep dough
chilled until filling is prepared. Roll and cut
into 8 - 15x4 strips. Spread with reserved
butter. Top with equal amounts of filling. Fold
ends in and roll. Chill 30-60 minutes. Brush
with beaten egg white, slit tops.
