Mushroom and Garlic Pork Steaks

2T. oil
|
|
4 pork steaks
|
|
salt and pepper
|
|
garlic powder
|
|
1 large onion, chopped
|
|
1c. fresh mushrooms, sliced or 2 cans sliced mushrooms
|
|
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
|
|
1 3/4 c. water
|
|
1 package dry onion soup mix
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Preheat oven to 350.
|
|
|
Season steaks with garlic, salt and pepper and brown on all sides in oil.
Transfer to 13x9 baking dish.
|
|
|
Saute the onions and mushroms in the same skillet until onions are tender. Add the rest of the ingredients to make a sauce.
|
|
|
Poor over steaks, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 90 min.
