1 1/2 lbs ground beef (if frozen, do NOT thaw in microwave)
1 egg
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 1/4c. crumbs of Health Nut Bread (or other coarse bread with seeds) crumbled in blender
salt and pepper to taste
3 T. brown sugar
3 T. mustard
1/3 c. ketchup (generous)
1/8 c. BBQ sauce (generous)
garlic salt to taste
Instructions
In large bowl combine beef, egg, onion, milk, cream and bread crumbs. Season with plenty of salt and pepper. Using your hands, mix well and place into a lightly greased 5x9 inch loaf pan.
In seperate bowl, combine everything else and season to taste. Mix well and pour over meatloaf.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
The Health Nut bread is the secret to this recipe...I recommend NOT substituting anything else.
