     The best deviled eggs

Ingredients
1 dozen hard-boiled eggs, peeled
3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. fresh chives, chopped
4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped (or bacon bits)
2 tsp. dried tarragon
1/2 tsp. dried mustard
salt and pepper to taste
 

Instructions
Slice bottom off each egg, exposing yolk. Cut a small sliver off pointed end of egg (top) to help it sit upright.
Scoop out yolks into bowl. Arrange whites on serving tray, or place each in an individual egg cup, hole end facing up.
In separate bowl, mash yolks and add remaining ingredients, then stir well to combine.
Use a pastry hag-- or a plastic bag with a bottom corner snipped off-- to pipe mixture into each egg. Garnish with remaining chives.
