     Glazed Carrots

Ingredients
1/2 lb fresh baby carrots
1 cup water
1 T butter
1 T brown sugar
Salt
1 T honey (optional)
 

Instructions
Cook carrots in salted water to desired doneness. Some people like them crunchy and some like them done. For me no more that 2 or 3 minutes. Drain and put in cold icy water to stop cooking. When they are cool drain again and dry on paper towels until very dry. Do not put wet carrots in your glaze otherwise they will not coat right and will be soggy.
Melt butter in skillet and wisk in brown sugar (and honey if you are using it)until smooth and pasty. Try it with and without honey to see which you like best. It is good either way. Add carrots and turn them for about two minutes until well coated
